Licenses, attribution, and the clean marketplace policy.
Obj3cts uses license presets. Creators pick one. Buyers know exactly what they can and cannot do. No 16-page EULAs to read at 11pm before shipping.

One comment in your code.
Every bundle ships with a small comment at the top of the generated code:
// 3D asset from Obj3cts.com — Floating Crystal Cluster // Attribution required by the selected asset license. // https://obj3cts.com
That's it. No visible badge on your website. No "powered by" pill. Just a source-code comment that survives minification because it's in the generated file before bundling. README and ATTRIBUTION.md give buyers the long version.
Use in your sites. Don't resell as a model.
- ALLOWEDScale, rotate, animate, light, place inside your website or app.
- ALLOWEDModify the model's geometry or material for your own project's implementation.
- BLOCKEDResell the model — modified or not — as a standalone 3D asset elsewhere.
- BLOCKEDPublish a derivative listing on Obj3cts unless the creator opted in to remixing.

Obj3cts is built for agencies, startups, education, and small businesses. Brand-safe by design. The following content is blocked or sent to review:
- ✗NSFW / adult content
- ✗Graphic violence / gore
- ✗Weapons or tactical objects
- ✗Hate / extremist symbols
- ✗Political propaganda
- ✗Real-person likenesses without consent
- ✗Copyrighted characters
- ✗Trademarked product replicas
- ✗Illegal or dangerous objects
- ✗Medical / legal / regulated claims
Every published asset is auto-checked. Web-Ready status requires passing all of:
- ✓Loads in browser
- ✓glTF Validator passes
- ✓Under 10 MB filesize
- ✓Under 50,000 triangles
- ✓Textures ≤ 2048px
- ✓No missing textures
- ✓Reasonable scale / origin
- ✓Three.js + R3F code generated
- ✓License selected
- ✓Attribution included
Listings can publish without all of these — but only Web-Ready listings get the badge. Community can flag any listing.
- Why is attribution required for every asset?
- Obj3cts gives creators a real, attributable source for their 3D work. Source-code attribution is light-touch — a comment in the generated file — and it's the price of a clean, brand-safe ecosystem. Removing attribution would invite asset laundering.
- Can I modify a model and resell it as my own?
- No. You can scale, rotate, animate, light, and place an asset inside your own website or client project. You cannot resell or redistribute the model file — modified or not — as a standalone asset, and you cannot publish a derivative listing on the marketplace unless the original creator allows remixing (off by default).
- What if I paid for the asset?
- A paid license expands what you can use the asset for (commercial work, client projects). It does not let you redistribute the model file or resell it as a standalone asset. Attribution is still required at launch.
- How is Obj3cts protecting paid models from theft?
- The marketplace listing shows a decimated, watermarked preview model. The full model is private until purchase. Downloads are signed URLs scoped to the buyer's entitlement. We do not pretend this prevents all theft — but it raises the cost of casual piracy significantly.
- Are AI-generated assets allowed?
- Yes. Every AI-generated listing is visibly labeled with the provider (Meshy today, Tripo and others later). Every listing — AI or not — goes through the same auto-validation pipeline. AI-generated assets that fail critical checks are blocked; those with warnings show the warnings publicly.
- What is the clean marketplace policy?
- No NSFW, no graphic violence, no weapons or tactical objects, no hate or extremist symbols, no political propaganda, no real-person likenesses without permission, no copyrighted characters or trademarked products, no illegal or regulated content. Reports go to a moderation queue and listings can be paused while reviewed.
